Club Hours

1. Club Hours are dedicated days/times when club members may enter the club to play chess against other members, study, and/or read books from the Library.
2. Club Hours shall have a Club Steward to supervise club operations.
3. Club Stewards shall have an active membership and their role should be pre-approved by a Club Officer.
4. The Club Hours and Club Steward schedules shall be published each quarter and shared with members and staff, respectively.
5. The access control schedule should align with Club Hours. An exception should be made for Club Stewards, granting an additional 30-minute padding to the start and end times.
6. The Chief Steward should assist with any gaps in Club Hours stewarding coverage when there are cancelations.
7. A facility shall be made available to allow for the survey collection and reporting of Volunteer Club Steward Hours.
